Alcohol support

Mental health support

  • Support is available to Derbyshire residents of all ages through a new mental health support line. Call 0800 028 0077 24hrs a day, seven days a week.   • If you are suffering from anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, low mood or excessive worry, VitaMinds can provide you with advice, guidance and support. Visit www.vitahealthgroup.co.uk/nhs-services or call 0333 0153 496.
  • Quell provides a service for parents and carers of young people under the age of 18 to access emotional wellbeing and early intervention support that looks to cover a range of mental health issues. The service is free and requires no formal referral, instead only requiring the user to set up an account on their website: https://www.qwell.io/

Sleeping Problems

If you’re having trouble sleeping, Sleepstation can provide you with the support and guidance you need to improve your sleep. You can self-refer to the NHS service by calling 0333 800 9404 or visiting their website: https://www.sleepstation.org.uk/startnow/

Stopping Smoking

Hearing Problems 

If you are concerned about a hearing problem, or feel you may need hearing aids, you can self refer to Specsavers for a free NHS hearing test and assessment. Services are available in  the Derby store for patients aged 18yrs+. Services are available in the Burton store for patients aged 55yrs+. Patients can self refer by calling the store directly or contacting Specsavers on 0800 077 8692.
